Margaritas. I have conflicting feelings about them. On one hand, the mere thought of sipping on a margarita made with the standard supbar restaurant s powdered sweet-and-sour mix gives me a stomachache. On the other, the idea of a naturally sweetened, fresh margarita made with real lime juice makes me want to clap my hands and jump up and down. Truly, they are two entirely different animals.

In reply to Zeba Durrani. Thank you for stopping by! Happy weekend! I agree that Margaritas should have a month long celebration. I haven't tried Stevia but we have made them with powdered sugar so I imagine that would work. I've never heard of coconut nectar. If you become a margarita mad scientist, please let me know how your experiments go!

I missed National Margarita Day but this call for a month long celebration. I love that you used Agave and wondering if you have experimented with other sweeteners like Stevia or coconut nectar? Needless to say that the pictures are mouthwatering.
