Make these DoubleTree Chocolate Chip Cookies for an afternoon snack, an easy dessert after any meal, or the perfect something to take along on a trip. Just like the hotel, you can greet your guests with a plateful!
Preheat the oven to 350 °F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Cream the butter with the brown sugar and white sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer until light and fluffy, approximately 3 minutes.
Add the eggs, vanilla, and lemon juice and blend on low for 30 seconds. Increase to medium speed and blend for an additional 2 minutes, scraping down the sides when necessary.
With the mixer on low, combine the flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon. Blend for about 45 seconds. Don't overmix.
With the mixer on low, add the oats, walnuts, and chocolate chips. Blend only until combined.
Scoop dough using a 3 tablespoon-sized scoop and put 6 cookies on a baking sheet. Bake for approximately 20 minutes.
Cool for 1 hour on the baking sheet over a cooling rack.
