Homemade Fresh Peach Sauce Recipe

Homemade Fresh Peach Sauce is a delicious way to serve fruit to the entire family.  It is so versatile and can be served so many ways.

  • 7 Peaches *skinned and pits removed
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 3/4 cup sugar


  • You can skin the peaches before or after you cook them.  Cut them in half and remove the pit.  Cover the bottom of a deep sided pan with water.  Add peaches and allow to cook until softened, approximately 20 minutes.
  • Peaches are too fibrous to pass through a sieve so add them to a blender, food processor or stick immersion blender.  Process them until smooth.  Return them to the heat and add lemon juice and sugar.  Heat until sugar is dissolved, approximately 10 minutes.


You can make as much or as little of this sauce at a time.  If your peaches are really sweet you may not add as much sugar.  I also choose to blend it smooth.  You can make it chunky if that's what you prefer.
