M&M's® Honey Nut Cookies taste like a big ole hug. They are warm from the fresh honey and the delicious flavor of the M&M's® Honey Nut candy gives these cookies a sweet nutty flavor.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Whisk together and set aside.
In the bowl of an electric stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat butter, white sugar and brown sugar together until combined. Add vanilla and eggs, mixing between each addition. Add honey and mix until combined.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
Add M&M's® Honey Nut flavored candies. Mix until just combined.
Chill for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Scoop 2 tablespoons of dough out for each cookie. Place on baking sheet 2 inches apart (9 to each baking sheet). *Press additional candies onto the exterior of the cookies if desired.
Bake approximately 12 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned on the edges, turning sheet halfway through baking. Don't over bake.
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes and then remove them to a cooling rack. (I just slide them from the baking pan using the parchment paper.
Store in an airtight container.
Notes
I press additional M&M's® Honey Nut flavored candies onto the exterior of the cookie so everyone gets a cookie with plenty of candies.
