Ingredients
1boxdark chocolate brownies suitable for a 9x13 inch pan. I used Pillsbury Dark Chocolate Family Size
Preheat the oven to the temperature suggested for the brownie mix.
Line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper for easy removal of the brownies. You can also grease or spray the bottom of a 9x13 or 11x7 baking dish.
Mix brownies according to package instructions. Spread the bottom of the pan with half of the batter. Place the toffee candy bars over the brownie batter. Top with the remaining brownie batter.
Bake approximately 40 minutes. Brownies are done when they slightly pull away from the sides of the dish. Don't overbake. They'll continue to set as they cool.
Allow to cool completely before cutting.
Notes
For thicker, fudgier Symphony Brownies, use the 11x7 inch pan
For thinner brownies with more servings, use the 9x13 inch pan
Let these toffee brownies cool completely for the cleanest cuts
They taste even better the next day!
