Ingredients
2ozBlanco tequila
1ozgrapefruit juicered or pink
½ozlime juicefresh
1ozsparkling water
¼ozagave necteror simple syrup
Instructions
Chill a lowball or Tom Collins glass by filling it with ice.
Once the glass is chilled, pour the ice into a shaker and add the tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and agave syrup.
Rim the glass with coarse salt.
Pour the shaker contents into the glass. I enjoy the ice in my cocktail but you can strain it out if that's what you prefer.
Add the sparkling water to the glass and give it a quick stir. Add a garnish using either a wedge of grapefruit or a lime wheel.
Notes
Ice can be added to the cocktail glass or strained to serve neat.We use a small amount of agave and adjust the sweetness to the shaker before pouring it into the glass.Sparkling water can be substituted with a grapefruit soda such as "Fresca".
