Grease your dish and add the bread cubes into the dish.
Mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, milk and vanilla.
Then pour the mixture evenly over the cubed bread in the dish before the mixture settles.
Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon for the topping and sprinkle over the soaked bread cubes.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
You can cut this into 9 small slices or 4 large slices.
- The top should feel a bit hard/crusty when done in the oven, however underneath will be soft and delicious!
- DO NOT rip your bread! This will cause the bread to become dense. We want the cubes of bread nice and fluffy before baking, as it will bake down slightly.
