Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is a one-pot meal that only takes 30 minutes to make. It's the perfect delicious meal for a weeknight dinner or entertaining guests.

Ingredients
1lbchicken- boneless, skinless, diced
2tbspolive oil
2tbspunsalted butter
1cuponion- red or yellow, diced
1cupbell pepper- tri-colored
3clovesgarlic- minced
2cupschicken broth- low sodium is what I use
1/2cupmilk- I used whole milk
1/2 cupheavy cream
8ozbow tie pasta
salt and pepper to taste
1/2cupshredded parmesan cheese
2tbsp parsley- chopped
Instructions
In a large pan or skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add chicken cook until no longer pink.
Add in the onions and peppers and continue to cook until the chicken is fully cooked through and browned.
Stir in garlic, salt, and pepper and cook for an additional minute.
Add uncooked pasta, milk, cream, and chicken broth. Stir and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan. If the mixture is too thick, add more milk as needed until desired consistency is reached.
Notes
Keep an eye on the skillet while simmering, stir every 5 mins or so to make sure there is no sticking or burning.Add more milk or cream if the liquid evaporates out too quickly.
