Ingredients
100gramswaterfiltered
50gramsUnbleached All-Purpose flour
50white whole wheat flour
Instructions
To make a new starter, combine the ingredients in a 1 quart container. Each day remove all but one tablespoon of the mixture and add 100 grams of water and 100 grams of the flour (50/50/mix).
Notes
Feed the starter each day until predictably active. Depending on the temperature conditions it can take anywhere from 8 to 14 days to get an active starter.
