maple syrup
Optional garnishes: Chopped hazelnuts, Cacao nibs, dark chocolate shavings, mini chocolate chips
Instructions
Pour milk into a blender and add frozen bananas, Nutella, maple syrup, and cocoa powder.
Blend for one minute (high-speed blender), 2 mins (regular blender), or until completely smooth. Taste and adjust the flavor profile as needed.
Pour into a bowl and add toppings. Serve immediately.
Notes
I generally taste the smoothie before adding the maple syrup because it's usually plenty sweet for me without it.
Add protein by adding chia seeds, hemp hearts, and ground flax.
