Homemade Fresh Peach Sauce Recipe

Homemade  Fresh Peach Sauce is a delicious way to serve fruit to the entire  family.  It is so versatile and can be served so many ways.

INGREDIENTS

– Peaches *skinned and pits removed – Lemon juiced – Sugar

STEP 1

You can skin the peaches before or after  you cook them.  Cut them in half and remove the pit.  Cover the bottom  of a deep-sided pan with about 1 inch of water.

Add the peaches and allow to simmer over medium heat until softened, approximately 20 minutes. You don't want to boil them.

STEP 2

Peaches  are too fibrous to pass through a sieve so add them to a blender, food  processor, or stick immersion blender.  Process them until smooth.

STEP 3

Return them to the heat and add lemon juice and sugar.  Heat until sugar is dissolved, approximately 10 minutes.
