Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease or spray a 9×5 inch loaf pan and set aside. – In a medium-sized bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, nutmeg ginger, cloves, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a larger mixing bowl, whisk the eggs, vanilla, oil, pumpkin puree, and sugar together until well combined. Stir the flour mixture into the pumpkin mixture.
Separate ⅓ of batter, and add cocoa powder and milk, mixing until combined.
Add both batters one spoonful at a time to the loaf pan, alternating between chocolate batter, and regular batter until all your batter is used.
