Bread, Muffins, and Rolls
Bread recipes are like an ancient love language. Nothing evokes the senses like the smell of homemade bread, muffins, and rolls baking in the oven.
Our bread recipes are defined in 3 ways.
- Quick bread recipes are those bread recipes that don't require instant yeast or a starter. These bread recipes rely on baking powder or baking soda to help them rise.
- Dry yeast bread recipes that use dry granular yeast. They're also called Rapid Rise, Instant, and Active Dry. These recipes usually require one or two proof times and shaping.
- Starter Bread Recipes - These bread loaves are often referred to as Sourdough, Artisan, or No-Yeast Bread. They require a starter grown from flour and water until natural yeast is activated. You can make your own starter using our easy instructions.
We have lots of videos and process photos as well as a Basic Baking document to make sure your homemade bread, muffins, and rolls recipes are a success.
